People call me sir a lot outside of my lifestyle, do you find that strange or it happens to you a lot?

Complete strangers will call me boss, sir, or some other term like that on the streets and such. Perhaps I command respect and don't realize it. Does it ever happen to you?
You!

Depends on how I am dressed. If I am dressed well I get the sir treatment, but if I go casual the sir disappears. For some reason only black people call me boss and I hate being called that, it makes me feel like a prison guard. People are going to do what they do though.

Kinda I usually get one of two responses depending on my mood and how tired I am. Either people will talk to me and it'll be like we're good friends when we've never even met before which usually happens when I'm relaxed and generally happy lol or when I'm stressed or pissed they'll act like I'm about three seconds away from going on a shooting spree and will talk to me like I'm a russian mafia boss lol.

I prefer the Russian Mafia Boss :P LOL. And if I had a game controller that controlled you, that would make an interesting evening, LOL TC

Lol I think it's just cause I'm Scandinavian and just really act like it, we're generally the most laid-back people until we become Vikings;D

I was commissioned an officer in the Marine Corps in 1953 and have been burdened for the last (almost) 60 years with people calling me sir. (I love it)

I don't use those terms ever, I find them a bit pretentious coming from me. TC
