Pennsylvania redidents, did you know a park ranger actually has more power than a cop when it comes to an issue like searching your vehicle or an inspection violation. They don't even need probable cause. Is this right?

As long as they're on duty in the park environs, they should have as much power as needed to maintain peace and security. Most of them travel solo in a large, uninhabited area and cannot quickly or easily get backup when needed.
