The next airline fee that may be a reality soon? Paying extra to exit an aircraft quickly. USA Today reports survey findings that, "...16% of respondents were willing to pay to be at the front of the line when their flight lands. Of that group, 10% would pay $10 and 3% would pay as much as $20." New airline fees are nothing new and are crucial to some airlines to avoid financial disaster. Would you pay to get out of a flight faster?

TRAVEL.USATODAY.COM reports:
Will paying extra to get off a flight faster be the next airline fee? A new survey suggests some would be willing to pay it.

Quite frankly ..
there should be in place ..
common COURTESY ...
Let the Disabled .. those with Small Children exit first ..
(no pushing, no shoving .. just let them get up and exit in comfort .. )
These fees are outrageous ..

You could save money if you just push people out of the way. These people are strangers, the likelihood of meeting any again is slim. Start shoving. Make your time at the baggage claim feel very uncomfortable and awkward.

Why rush?

Sometimes I want to be the first person to wait at the baggage carousel. I can stake my claim on the spot where the bags come off of the conveyor, but since the bags don't come out in the same order exiting passengers, I still end up waiting just as long as everybody else.

I might pay extra for a baggage claiming service. Maybe even take my bags out to the car for me as well while I enjoy a refreshing beverage. I am pretty sure that a service like that has already been created though. Damn, how much is it to hire an airport porter?

Maybe they would give me $50 to not leave a "suspicious parcel" under a seat? We are rapidly becoming like a third world country and the airline industry is perhaps the leader in such absurd and crass pillage.Recently there was rumor of one airline making the toilets coin operated. I hope to never be forced to make a choice between having no coins and urinating on the floor. Actually, out of contempt for the idea, I would probably choose the latter.

Ideally, you don't want to be sitting near an exit or in the front of the plane at all.
You want to sit in the window seat in the last 11 rows of the plane.
Who cares who gets off first?

I was on a flight where the airline had to pay passengers to get off the plane. This was too funny, thought it a joke at first. Pilot announced plane cannot get off the ground due to too much weight; never heard this in all my years of flying.

I support that airlines are exploring capitalism by breaking up the standard airline fee into a series of chunks so that I as a user only have to pay for what I need.

However, I'm going to fly Southwest and pay one flat fee and not fee nickle and dimed to death on my next trip.

I'd pay a little extra for exit row seats, only as ive been stuck a number of times waiting for 15-20 minutes when they don't exit the plan from the front and back.

20 minutes of my time is worth something.

I purposely sit in the very last row and hang out with the flight attendants, get extra snacks, free drinks and I'm in no hurry whatsoever.

I did that once from Manchester to Phoenix. It made the flight a lot more pleasant. The time getting off the plane is something you should factor in. Let the rookie travelers pay the fees...
