First Rihanna, and now Paris Hilton. The celebutante has jumped on the "suspender" tights bandwagon, rocking the sexy tights with a black figure skater dress and an '80s-style lacy black jacket in Beverly Hills. Very "Pretty Woman" of Paris, if we do say so ourselves.
The trompe l’oeil (trick of the eye) tights are meant to look like garters -- and perhaps for that very reason, they're very popular with celebrities. According to the Mail, Lily Allen launched the trend in 2009, and now they seem to have hopped the pond. Last November, Rihanna and Selena Gomez were both seen in the stockings.
It's a sexy look, but it's not so innocent ... especially for squeaky-clean Gomez. Paris looks like she's trying to class things up with her expensive handbag, but really, these stockings probably belong in the bedroom. On Valentine's Day. Unless you happen to be the star of an X-rated video ...
Meanwhile, Paris is making a new CD with her DJ-producer boyfriend, Afrojack, The New York Post reports (does this girl ever NOT have a boyfriend?). "I’m doing my new album, and Afrojack is actually executive-producing the entire thing," she told the Post. "There are a lot of very cool collaborations on my album," she added. "We just finished doing my single with LMFAO, then I’m recording with Snoop Dogg." Really? LMFAO and Snoop Dogg want to work with Paris Hilton? Who'da thunk it?

And will someone please explain to me why any woman would look at Paris Hilton as someone with taste and style? I don't get it. Trendy? Maybe. Fashionable? That's a stretch. Chic? No way!
