Here's a picture of our Little Emma. We adopted her last Wednesday from a Animal Shelter in Colorado. She had a clean bill of health as we took her to our local Veterinarian for a check up. Well this morning Little Emma looked sick, so we took her back to the Vet and he told us she has contracted the Parvo Virus. So our Little Emma is in the Animal Hospital fighting for her little life. I hope and pray the good Lord will watch over her and heal her so she can come back home with us.
What we are wondering is,,,,
Are there any Parvo Virus Survivors out there? And would you please share your story with us?
Are there encouraging stories out there that might help ease the pain and quite the fears of losing our Little Emma?
Are there other folks out there who could use some encouragement as well.
We sure would like to hear from you,,,, and see some pictures of your Little Ones too.

my max's mother is a parvo survivor, im surprised your vet didn't immunize Emma on the first visit.

So sorry to hear that! It was wonderful that you got her from a shelter but if you decide to get her a buddy or more than one I'd maybe pick a different shelter. Did she have exposure to any other dogs after you got her? If not you should call the shelter so they can do some major disinfecting and cleaning. I hope it works out good for you.

Little Emma is doing great. Actually She has an appointment for Monday with our local Animal Hospital / Veterinarian for her Neuter operation. It's so hard to believe she's almost six months old already,,,,,

Thank you,,, Little Emma is getting better every day. She has finished all of her medication and is back on solid food,,,, We are very thankful for her,,,,,

Thank you,,, And Amen, Amen! We are so very thankful for our little Emma. I love to see the look on people's faces when I explain what Emma went through and how so many folks lifted her up in Prayer. Her amazing recovery time frame and how well she is doing truly is an answer to Prayers,,,,,,,

Thank you for your Prayers and good words. Little Emma is getting better each day. She has lot's more energy and has found most of her appetite again. She is gaining weight a little each day. Today she is up to 4lbs 14 oz. Yesterday she weighed in at 4lbs 6oz.

It's hard to watch a little one hurting, It hurts my heart to see them dying. We are so blessed that Little Emma is recovering from Parvo,,, We are so thankful for Gods love and mercy and for people like you with a loving heart,,,,,,,
I applaud you for helping animals,, It takes a very special person to give so much of themselves little ones who need us so,,,,,

I am sorry, I do not have a pic of our baby. She was Scamp. She survived. We kept her at home and tended to her around the clock. She came out of it and 2 wks later came down w/ hepatitis. We thought this was sure gonna get her. Again around the clock care at home 'cause the Vet said there was no way she would live. But she made it. She lived to be 19 yrs old. she was pekinese and dashhound. She was so adorable and I miss her very much.

I will keep your little Emma in my prayers.
