There were only about two people from high school I was interested in keeping contact with. The rest must have seen me as a mutual friend and added me.

NEVER ..
Went through High School as fast as possible .. graduated early .. and NEVER looked back. Where I grew up .. things were pretty .. well .. (let's see how to politely say this ..) it was tough to make ends meet .. so many either ended up one of these ways .. DRUGS, Prison, DEAD .. (few of us went into the Military .. and of the ones who made it out .. very slim numbers went and obtained degrees and stayed out .. leaving the home town far behind).

Yep... found a few... learned that 4 girls I dated are now dead, my best friend (back then) is now a die hard socialist, and a girl I always wanted, secretly always wanted me. I'm not searching for any more. I don't need any more surprises like those!

Over the years I've contacted quite a few of them. Most are still in central Alabama, a few in Florida, five have passed on.

Not so much to make contact with them, but just to see what happened to them.. out of curiosity.

Oh, I know what happened to most of them... we grew up in a small town and most of the parents still live there, so I get an update every so often... whether I want one or not. :-)

Yes

I did.
I looked for the most popular guy in school to see how his privileged life turned out.
He dated a cute girl, got admitted to a prestigious college, he was very talented, and he made all the right moves. it seemed.
I found out that he died of pneumonia six years ago.
I might have made some bad decisions in my life, but I'm still here.
It just goes to show ya...it's always something.
