you cant spread it unless you have it right then on the lip after its gone your free to kiss, but once its on your lip or the inside of your mouth you shouldnt kiss or share drinks

I thought, and I think others will too, that you got oral herpes because of oral sex. That's what I thought. OMG...
People have oral sex and they put themselves at risk of getting oral herpes. Throat herpes...I've heard of that too.
Anyway, you have a cold sore...I got it.
Go to a pharmacy and ask them what would best treat cold sores.
