Obama trying to censor

The federal government is now
petitioning to have these signs removed or Washington State will be denied
additional monies for interstate highways.

The State of Washington replied, they
will secede from the Union rather than be intimidated. These are a matter of
free speech paid for by a private citizen.

It
seems the Obama government uses intimidation and ignores the first amendment
when they want to silence someone.

I quote from an over view of the First Amendment in reference to speech and expression:

"Freedom of expression consists of the rights to freedom of speech, press, assembly and to petition the government for a redress of grievances, and the implied rights of association and belief. The Supreme Court interprets the extent of the protection afforded to these rights. The First Amendment has been interpreted by the Court as applying to the entire federal government even though it is only expressly applicable to Congress. Furthermore, the Court has interpreted, the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment as protecting the rights in the First Amendment from interference by state governments."

Now, not even President Obama and "his" Administration has the gall to fight that, do they?

I could find no evidence that the administration is doing anything about these signs.

Free speech is tough when it is used against you! I can imagine what then Senator Obama would have had to say about things like this if they would have been about G. Bush!

What people have to remember. The Freedom of Speech in the Constitution protects you from the government silencing you.
