President Obama may have gotten desperate according to The Atlantic Wire. They suggest that Obama needs to inspire the young people to vote for him and get re-energized about his campaign, that has otherwise failed to inspire anyone. President Obama has a history of drug use, which would make discussing drug usage a dangerous subject for him compared to Mitt Romney.

In 2004 George W. Bush's re-election campaign worked to put anti-gay marriage ballot initiatives up for vote in several swing states in order to turn out more hard-core conservatives to the polls. This year the question is whether marijuana legalization measures will turn out young voters for Obama.

Have people really forgotten his promises made in 2008? Sad really. Marijuana should have never been made illegal by the federal government in the first place. Just another situation where the very people we elect to protect us, create filthy lies to profit off our suffering.
