Nicki Minaj has been called the "Lady Gaga of hip-hop" for her over-the-top style and perpetual makeovers, and while she hasn't had her meat-dress moment yet, her latest hairdo is worthy of a critique.

Ladies and gentleman, may we present...graffiti hair! Did a wayward street artist mistake her head for a city wall? Did she trip in a paint factory? Blind hairdresser?

Or is this the carefully-crafted hair artistry of a style icon?

We're not taking sides, but we will hand it to Ms. Minaj for thinking outside the (hair) bun.

    She's mainly just been a hot barbie mess to me. How can you read graffiti on your hair? Another pointless fashion statement yet again from Miss Nicki Minaj, the self-proclaimed fashionista. I don't understand the whole wanting to look exactly like a barbie thing. You look like a cake face mess to the rest of the world.

    i love nicki!! she is the hottest thing right now, not only cause of looks. anyone can see she is beautiful!! she can also spit mad crazy! her style is way out there making her an all around entertainer. she comes out from all sides at you, always changing it up! i love the hair, it suits her well!

    I think its lovely. Well, lovely isn't the word for it I guess.. I think its cool :-)
    I've got bright red hair and I get teased all the time for it. And I hate it (being teased. Aha, I love my hair!).
    I wouldn't have it, but its ver cool to me.
