Nicki Minaj is trying to cash in on the sweet smell of success. The hip-hop star announced Tuesday that her first fragrance will debut in fall 2012, and she says it was especially designed for her "Barbz" -- those are Nicki Minaj's fans, for anyone who lives under a rock.

"I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances; this is yet another extension of my creative expression and I can't wait to share it with the world. I designed this scent and bottle with my Barbz [fans] in mind; I know they will love it!” said Minaj.

Minaj signed a licensing agreement with Give Back Brands, the company behind Justin Bieber's hit scent Someday. She noted that she was involved in all aspects of creating the fragrance.

Earlier this year, Minaj's nail polish line, Nicki Minaj by OPI, hit stores, and she's also rumored to have apparel deals in the works. Do you think Minaj's fragrance will smell like a winner? Or is she just another celeb cashing in on her name as much as possible?

It's just a cha-ching opportunity for Nicki, but I say, You Go Girl! You only live once, and obviously the moon and stars are aligning just right for her.

And actually I was wondering if Madonna's fragrance smells anything like her cooch, since we've already have had to deal with pictures of her sticking her finger up it.

I wish there were an 'Other' selection.

I like her as an artist and I do like her style a little bit, but she doesn't really seem like a person I'd buy all my fashion items from.

Perhaps her 'Barbz' will like it, but I'm skeptical until I actually catch a whiff of it.
