Men were playing soccer in Europe long before it became a game played by women and children. Men who play soccer aren't any less masculine than football players.

Well refereeing in either game has absolutely nothing to do with playing the game. And I also disagree with your assessment. I'm open minded enough to enjoy the best of all worlds! Soccer just takes more time to appreciate (that was my experience at least).
