As for the general consensus of the players? Certainly they would not risk six, seven or eight figure contracts because they could not play well with others. They probably have more self security than that.
Only the beta males on the field or in the stands would thoroughly object.

The more intelligent answer would be to say that you don't like the sport, but to say something like that only serves to polarize you from the majority as the total percentage of Americans who like NFL football exceeds 60% of the American Public.
As long as one knows the rules, has working vision and hearing, and is able to perform the other duties required, it doesn't make a lick of difference if it's a man or a woman.
OMG I can't believe some of the things the "No" voters are saying in the comments. It seems like a confluence of Forrest Gump's mama and Twain's saying about removing all doubt...
