Not sure what I will resolve to do this coming year.
I seem to be running out of ideas as I have kept
all the ones I made in previous years.

but - since I went off the reservation while visiting my bro over xmas and am going back on the straight-and-narrow as of today - maybe it qualifies as a resolution?
so, I've lost 97 lbs -- with 13 to go.
only gained one during this week while eating myself silly. . . .
Congratulations on losing the 97 lbs.!
now's the HARD part. the loss-rate has dropped way down as I'm chiseling away at these last few lbs. rrrrrrrrrggghhhhhhh!
About 2 months ago I went through emergency surgery and lost part of my sight -- and have been working hard at trying to re-learn all the independent life skills we all take for granted (like cooking, etc) ... because even with Surgery .. I am going to be slowly losing more and more and the outcome of all this is that I will be totally blind in the future.
As a result -- I am planning and providing for me to attend (at my own expense) various courses, events, learning sessions, etc so that I can go through the steps and become SAFE with my "new" sight (well .. lack of) -- so I can be as independent as possible for as long as possible. I've done some already .. and it IS a learning process for sure .. it takes time, a lot of patience .. but I am doing OK with this!
So for me ... with the sight I still have .. I am going to take little 'trips' to see what I can see .. to take the photographs, to get the memories and enjoy the little things that we take for granted in sighted lives. This is something I always wanted to do (driving places, spending time where I wanted to spend it) .. but couldn't (Because I always had to work hard and provide for my own needs).
MY resolution then for 2011 .. is to enjoy the SITES .. enjoy the sight I have .. and not let the 'drama' bother me .. for I know that things are changing .. and life goes onwards.
I like the getting off the grid part, it is a shame
more people aren't trying to do that.

not just the things I have to do!
a lot more appreciative of things I feel I have taken for granted, in 2010.
complete everything on time. This doesn't leave much spare
time to really work on other goals. I like to use my spare time
for personal engagements and using the internet.
