Breaking Bad is an awesome show! And I'm surprised how many ppl are saying "no", its just a candy! The chance of people becoming meth addicts themselves solely because its from a meth-related show is practically zero. There are much more devious things pumped into all sorts of consumer products these days, sometimes without ppl knowing.

Btw the article fails to mention that the candy meth is actually the prop meth in the show, as seen on The Candy Lady's website; "Several seasons ago The Candy Lady was approached to provide the show prop for Albuquerque's Hit TV Show "Breaking Bad.""

The stuff in the store may be just excess from what the show didnt use. Even if it isnt; its just candy. Is it so wrong to share it with ppl?

I really haven't been around it after I quit so I'm actually not familiar with the smell, but when it drips down to the back of your throat, it pretty gnarly...I threw up the first time. Dating someone on meth if you're not doing it is a mistake. Smoking pot is one thing...you take a bong hit, whatever, cool. But meth is no joke and if you're actually leading some semblance of a normal life while using it, it won't last long. It's an all consuming drug and it doesn't take much time before you're a slave to it.

I just taught a adolescent drug/alcohol class. Kids are sharp they know their drugs. Their drug of choice in weed. If though they are under age they still think that it is cool to smoke it--because it is legal. Save your breath about telling them it is not legal for them.

Yeah....DARE is supposed to stop it, but it doesn't. If anything it made me more curious...then I looked at my oldest brother when he had a drug problem and realized it wasn't something I really wanted to do.

1. I don't drink beer...and I don't drink tremendous amounts whether in front of my kids or not.
2. I do NOT use over the counter meds! I do not believe in using medicines for the most part unless there is absolutely no way around it. For infections, fine an antibiotic is used. Do I like it, no, but it helps my kids or myself get better faster. I suffer through colds, flu, etc. We do take allergy meds when necessary since it's a "most of the year" thing for us, but we only take it about 2 months out of the whole year...

So I guess your judgement of me is wrong. Thank you for playing!

That's disconcerting. How long before they accidentally distribute the real thing labeled as candy. No thanks! The show, Breaking Bad is a creative idea for garnering laughs and creating suspense but there's a point where we should be a bit wary.

I can see why some people would say no, since meth is a huge problem in this country, but being a fan of Breaking Bad, I would buy copious amounts of blue meth candy.

Plus there was the time Bryan Cranston was on Conan, and he brought a huge ziplock bag of the stuff. And also grapes in his pants.
