Laziness was just taken to a whole 'nother level. According to the Daily Mail, there is now technology out there that allows you to ditch your remote control and really take control of your television--with your own two eyes. Batteries are not included. The Eye Control TV is produced by a Chinese manufacturer and is currently in prototype form, but it's already getting a ton of buzz as the potential wave of the future.
On one hand, it sounds really, really cool. You can raise and lower the volume, change channels, and turn the TV on and off just by moving your eyes. That means no more getting up to find the remote and one less device viewers have to worry about. But, as with every kind of new technology, there are certainly some drawbacks. One of them is the large, table-sized sensor that needs to be installed in order to track eye movements.
While random blinks have not hampered the sensor's features, no one knows if the technology with break down and have issues over time. And while it is a cool device to show off to your friends, some may actually find it kind of creepy. Not to mention the fact that the price tag will most likely point towards the category of ridiculously expensive, at least for now. One thing is for sure: The TV experience is moving towards more interaction with 3D and Internet connectivity. Do not be surprised if this feature pops up in finished products sooner rather than later.

I mean it is weird, strange, bizarre, and geeky but not necessarily creepy.
but it is also very lazy i meen COME ON if clicking you're remote is too much work for you then life must be too hard to force yourself to breathe.
I am mostly a technophile, but where do we "draw the line in the sand"???
Should this even be made available to the "able bodied"???
