The U.S. Navy's new class of carriers will be the first to go without urinals, a decision made in part to give the service flexibility in accommodating female sailors, the Navy says.

The change heralded by the Gerald R. Ford class of carriers starting with the namesake carrier due in late 2015 is one of a number of new features meant to improve sailors' quality of life and reduce maintenance costs, Capt. Chris Meyer said Wednesday. Do you think the Navy is stronger by being "gender neutral"?

Attitude definitely makes all the difference. I was on a carrier (USS JFK). I never got out of working parties and field day, tho.

I don't think the Military being gender neutral is the problem as much as it is the PC idiots in the bureaucracy. I can already hear the ladies complaining about the toilet seats being pissed on and not put back down properly lol.

Not to contradict you there Art but which rival are you referring to... Both China and Russia have long histories of women in their own militaries as well as in their police, fire and other emergency services.
