Do you love Nestle Crunch Bars and Girl Scout Thin Mints? Well then, today's your lucky day. Because the two will be combined into a Nestle Crunch Girl Scout candy bar in the coming months, TODAY.com reports. "We are thrilled with the positive response to the Nestle Crunch Girl Scout Candy Bar," Joshua Ackley, a spokesman for the Girl Scouts said.

Though Ackley told TODAY that the candy bar is a retail sales sample and not available for sale right now, he does say to keep your eyes peeled in June. The new bar has been described as "dark chocolate cookie wafers and mint chocolate creme, topped with airy crisps." Yum ... sounds like the best of both (delicious) worlds. And if Thin Mints aren't your favorite Girl Scout cookie, don't be discouraged. The organization says there's a "surprise" in store that may or may not involve the other cookie flavors.
The Girl Scouts are celebrating their 100-year anniversary this year after a challenging 2011. Thanks to the recession, some councils have "retired" certain cookies (Dulce de Leche, Thank U Berry Munch, All Abouts, Sugar-Free Chocolate Chip), and the Girl Scouts have also reduced the the quantity of cookies per box and made some cookies smaller, according to reports. But these tempting new candy bars seem like a step in the right direction!

I have 2 daughters both in girl scouts. It is one of the best organizations for teaching respect for others (no matter race, color, religion etc). I don't care about all the negativity regarding cookie sales, health issues, "child slavery" (that one cracks me up).
I am an entreprenuer, my goal is to give my children an opportunity to learn about business practices. Friday and Saturday, I helped the leaders for my kids troups (2 different troups due to age). On troup leader is pretty clueless about running a business, so I organized the girls. Things went really smooth and the girls "hopefully" learned how to conduct business. I taught them about marketing and advertising, Customer relations, Handling money etc.
Sure there are things I don't like about girl scouts is so insignificant to what my children are learning and doing that I fully support.
IMHO if you never had kids in scouts (boy or girl) you have NO valuable opinion. If you never did it you don't have the FACTS, just one sided Slime-stream media BS propaganda.
But if it mak...
