According to a new survey out of the U.K., approximately one third of people with tattoos, regret ever getting one. Further, the survey went on to report that men were more likely to have regret over a tattoo than women. The survey included 580 responses (53 percent men, 47 percent women) from people ages 16 and older (half of them were older than age 40), who had visible tattoos.

Yes+12I'm very proud of my tattoo,I got it when I was 16yrs of age and it was illegal at the time.

I think the biggest things leading to regret are:
Reason for getting it
Getting it without thinking about it
Getting something that is only good based on the current situation, such as a love interest's name.
