GoTopless.org is once again sponsoring its annual march and rally for the equal right for women to go topless. The eye-catching event takes place at Venice Beach on Sunday August 26.

any woman who is a bit more 'endowed' ..
any woman who has children ..
there's a need for "support" ..
(and that's the truth ..)

REAL Ladies ..
do not show their 'wares' for general 'consumption' ..
they act like ladies and cover them up and shore them up ..
and wear properly fitted garments!

People are against it, it doesn't matter whether it's dangerous or harmless. If you want the laws to be repealed, you need to change people's minds about it. Not complain to the government.

Democracy is majority rule. America is not a democracy, it's a republic in which a small minority of privileged citizens called congresspeople rule. The theory being that they are better educated and more enlightened than the majority and more likely to keep the law rational rather than subject to the arbitrary whims of mob rule. But if what you say is true, you just proved the founding fathers wrong.

Majority rule works better for social and moral issues. There isn't a right or wrong about them, just different principles. So what the majority of people think is what should happen. If the majority of people in a community think women should be allowed to walk around with their breasts out, that's fair enough, but people in other areas may not share their view. Same with gay marriage and abortion.

I think there is a time and a place to be topless. I do believe that there can be areas set aside for that. Like a topless beach that is for adults only. I know I think it is so gross to be driving by and see a guy with no shirt and a pot belly and his butt crack showing. Would you want your girlfriend/wife/daughter walking around topless in front of others.. just sayin'.

Land is a very limited commodity that must be shared. Nobody should be allowed to own it.

All beaches stink because the ocean is a nasty sewer. Nude women is the only thing that could possibly draw me there.

It's called eminent domain, Todd. It would only be front page news because it would happen to everyone, not just you. I totally support your right to private property, just not land. The private ownership of land, especially in densely populated areas, leads to scarcity, which creates monopolistic conditions that drives up the costs of everything from store prices, to hotel rates, apartment rent, and home prices. It also limits our mobility, creating congestion, which city planners cannot correct without moving things around. Privately held land always gets in the way, delaying construction projects and wasting tax dollars.

Oh, I know. lol :) I'd have to find an expert to write a book and make the case to the whole world before anyone would even take it seriously. Then I'd have to find a member of Congress willing to propose a bill to abolish private land in the US. There'd be all kinds of outrage at first but the details would soon sink in as the MSM hold numerous hair-pulling debates with experts and critics alike. So everyone would be plenty familiar with the concept by the time Congress ever got around to passing the bill.

At home, on private property, in designated areas sure, but walking down the streets, in schools, as much as I like looking at boobs, hell no, what's next bottomless dudes, I really don't want to have to look at sweaty balls and harry cracks while shopping for groceries.
