Every now and then, you've probably been the recipient of a random act of kindness -- or maybe you've even done something nice for a stranger yourself.
But handing out $100 bills at the local Big Lots! store? Now that's just nuts.
Crazy as it sounds, witnesses tell KVIA-TV it happened at an El Paso, Texas, shopping center on Wednesday morning.
Liz Hartman, a cashier at the Big Lots! store, said a well-dressed woman who appeared to be in her late 50s "just came into the store and started passing out $100 bills to our customers."
"It was bizarre," Hartman added.
Julie Mireles was one of those lucky customers. Mireles was entering the store when a stranger stopped her in the parking lot.
"She says, 'Excuse me young lady, can I just bless you with this?' and she just put the bill in my hand," Mireles told ABC-7.
Once inside, Mireles saw the woman giving more money to other customers. When one shopper asked the woman why she was giving away money, the woman just smiled and pointed to her heart.
"There was something in that lady's face, in her expression ... she wanted to give and bless people with that money," Mireles said.
Hartman said about 12 customers used the $100 bills they received from the woman at Big Lots!
Darn -- why couldn't we have been at the El Paso K-Mart on Wednesday?
So what do you think: Was this just a kind-hearted, well-to-do woman who felt like brightening people's day? Or does she belong in the loony bin?

~Pro-Fetus Anti-Liberal Ant... 2011/03/19 16:46:09Kind+21There aren't enough kind people out there and it's no wonder why. The minute that somebody does something even remotely nice, they are either questioned for their 'motives', or just insulted for their kindness.

Do you really want to be at the El paso K mart ever? Not even for $1000, thanks.
there is nothing wrong with money, it is just that we try to bless one's that are deserving more
so than others, But it is very nice and kind.
Her money her choice.
