In 1914 , The Great War was only a few months old..but it had settled into the long trenches by December. on Christmas Eve The miracle started with German forces putting up Small Christmas trees and lighting them with candles...and ended with an un official truce in no Man's land.

I have decided to do the same. Merry Christmas to ALL that I have encountered here on Sodahead

To all my friends..you are special to me...you are the best present i could have here on SodaHead

To All My Frenemies : I promise we will duel at a later time...but for NOW let us raise a glass in honour of the day

Seriously ! That's a grand gesture! So far, we haven't crossed swords . Perhaps I should follow suit and unblock some folks too. A lovely idea regardless of which tradition one follows at this time of the year.

my friend they will always be the enemy...but right now...they are objects of pity rather than rancor....if we don't take a time out...we becoime as bitter and as nasty as they are...they have forgotten their humanity....we can't afford to forget it

I like your truce. I think the same thing happened during the civil war. And yes sometimes it feels like we are at war here on SH.
