Mothers upset that their children found 2 GAY DVD's in a neighbors trash can ---what should they do ?

Kids found a couple gay DVD's in the neighbors trash can set out by the curb --they took them home to watch with other neighborhood kids , Mothers and fathers upset about this incident . How can they handle the situation ?

When you say gay DVDs I'm guessing it was porn, right?
Tell the kids to stop snooping around in people's rubbish bins. The owners aren't at fault.

For what? To sue, one has to show damages. In addition it is against the law I believe to snoop through other people's garbage. I suspect that the mothers would be quickly countersued for not controlling their kids.

When disposing of such material, the person throwing it away should make sure that it is effectively disabled to prevent it from falling into the hands of others. Children or not.
As for this particular case. I don't know what they can do other than to bring it to the individaul(s) attention and ask the people to be more careful in the future when disposing of such material.

For what? The neighbors not locking up their trash? Maybe they should just teach their kids to stay out of other peoples trash. It's not the neighbors fault that their kids are nosy little dumpster divers. I only say that they should disable the material out of common courtesy for others and to insure their own personal privacy. A lot of what's wrong with this country/world is the apparent disappearance of the concept of personal responsibility. Opting instead to sue others for their own lack of forethought or personal control. The fact that it's compounded by various states/countries stupidly going along with them and rewarding them for it is insane. But then insanity is popular now isn't it?

I'm not sure I buy the trash story. I did a lot of things as a kid but digging through the neighbors trash was not one of them. I think it's a cover story to hide the real source. Waterboard them and you'll get the real story.

Just another lesson in reality. My Nine year old grand daughter wanted to know what gay meant, so I told her, not in a nasty bias way, but in the most balance way possible. Her reply was Oh that’s interesting, and I heard no more about it. She is pretty precocious though and does not like being lied to.
