Look at this lady - Let us never forget!

The prize doesn't always go to the most deserving.

There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena.

During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist.

She had an 'ulterior motive'.

She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews (being German).

Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids).

She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto.

The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.

During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely.

Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard.
After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family.

Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.

Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize.

She was not selected.
President Obama won one year before becoming President for his work as a community organizer for ACORN
and Al Gore won also--- for a slide show on Global Warming.

63 years later
organizer acorn al gore won slide global warming 63 years

And here we are today.. the times of the muslim brotherhood.. Iran and Amadinajad and the mullahs, The big Oa$$hole in our white house. and a wide variety of Anti Semitic folks in this country and around the world

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended.

This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians (Including 12,000 Jehovah's Witnesses) and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated!

Now, more than ever, with Iraq , Iran , and others, claiming the HOLOCAUST to be 'a myth'.

It's imperative to make sure the world never forgets, because there are others who would like to do it again.

That's sad that she was denied a nobel peace prize for saving so many lives in the face of so much danger. history repeats itself when people choose to forget

We will never forget. As we lose more and more of the very people who suffered the horrors of the concentration camps, a new younger and more diverse group is raising the banner for those who will soon be gone. Never Forget> This is why we must maintain our gunlaws, our freedom of speach our ability to peacefully assemble. This is why we have a constitution. THere are many great people who never get recognized in this lifetime and then there are those who only look for recognition, decide who is more deserving.

It just is heart-rending .. when a LADY .. who definitely DESERVES the recognition ..

Is passed right on by for the /selection/ of someone who has literally done absolutely NOTHING ...

GOD BLESS you Irena .. may you REST IN PEACE .. know your sacrifices .. saved so many young lives ..

I remember Irena's story well, a great self sacrificing woman. Not many like her today in the world of instant gratification.

I did not forget about the holocaust but I never knew about the relationship with that idiotic prize he won for doing nothing.
    I have sent it forward.Thank you .

Shouldn't you be ranting about the elective process, or maybe even just the validity of these silly prizes? What in the world does Obama and the ICCP have to do with ANY of this?

    They didn't vote.

No one is forgetting about the holocaust, and we ALL know who the idiots are that attempt to deny it. Goodness, this is some good old fashioned fear mongering...
