My first job when I left school was working in a mussel factory. I basically stood at a conveyor belt from six in the morning until six at night shelling mussels.

Narrow Focused Repetitive action jobs ..
(quite frankly .. I would find piecework on a line .. the same thing over and over and over again .. to be quite mind-numbing .. )
No job, however simple is ever boring if one approaches it with a creative mind. As an example, filing has erroneously been called the most boring job. If one is creative, besides alphabetizing the subject matters, you can create sub-categories within an alphabet. Each category would be placed in a different colored folder, etc., etc. While you are categorizing the subject matters, you quickly would find a wealth of new information that you could use to make yourself more knowledgeable in your job.
I believe, it's a matter of outlook and motivation, a defeatist attitude will make just about any job boring.......some of the finest personalities are for those that do the hardest and unpleasant jobs, yet they rise above it, being cheerful and very likable.........as persons.......
