In the absense of neutering it is a great idea. The pet population is to high now.. If those who choose irresponsibility had access maybe it would cut that down some.

There should be a morning after pill. I never thought my dog was going to get raped by a stray dog until this morning. That dumb dog jumped over the fence to get through. I didn't want her spayed yet because I had a boyfriend for her.

That sucks... Hopefully that stray was a cute dog. My dog got "well I wouldn't call it rape" knocked up to a pitbull. Luckily I found another white fluffy dog to add a cute pup to the mix, The one we kept.

There is such a pet overpopulation now, that I think things like that are important if anything unexpected happens.

Good idea that can help, but neutering and spaying are better.

Besides the fact RU-486 is not the morning after pill, I don't think it would be smart to have either for dogs....

Administered by a veterinarian who can then thell the owners that they really should get their pet spayed or neutered.

Millions of dogs/cats are euthanized every year. Vets also do cat/dog abortions. This would much more humane.
If I was a vet though, I would recommend the owner spay the animal, which would also solve the problem.

RU486 is not the morning after pill it is an abortion pill.It ends a pregnancy by fighting the progestin hormone so the uterus sheds its lining and the pregnancy is over. The morning after pill contains levonorgestril which is a progestin, and helps progestin levels to delay ovulation long enough for the sperm die in order to prevent pregnancy, see the difference?!:-) progestin levels delay ovulation sperm die order prevent pregnancy difference-

    Good, and hilarious.
But if you can't find homes for puppies, then they end up alone :[

Just get them spayed/neutered. My dog actually had an abortion because we got her spayed and we didn't know she was pregnant, haha.

I had to use the morning after pill once. I like it! very few side-effects, just breast tenderness.

LOL This is a funny question, something I've never even considered. I think it's a good idea. Especially if your slutty dog gets out and whores around.:) But fixing your dog is even better.

If those slutty dogs would just keep their legs together, they wouldn't find themselves needing it.

It's illegal to not fix your animal here in Los Angeles so no there's no need for a morning after pill

It's wrong? Oh sorry i guess stray dogs having litters of puppies that starve to death or reproduce even further is the right way of doing things. The only people that object to having their animals spayed or neutered are ones who have a sick attitude about their animals being able to fuck each other and make more puppies to fill up already overcrowded animal shelters. You can say your dog never runs around the streets or how responsible you are but you're just a very minuscule part of a giant problem. Ya gotta think about the bigger picture that's all I'm saying =]

Um...first off....good or bad? Yes or No...Your question is not phrased very well...

2nd...wow...um what ever happened to spaying/neutering?

Hm...I guess it's ok...I'm fine with the human version...I'm pro-life but don't view the morning after pill as abortion b/c your not technically pregnant yet...

I guess this is a good second chance for idiots that don't get their dogs fixed when they should have...

Hopefully this will help out some with lowering the overpopulation of dogs....
hopefully after people give this to their dog they will than be smart and take it to be permanatley spayed/neutered...

I think its a good idea, it might be expensive though, and I don't really know how you would know when your dog is getting busy that she would need the pill but I wouldn't mind one for my cats. They are whores
