I usually end up staying awake the entire night because I can't stand lying there trying to sleep.

To be rested , I need about nine hours . Lately , I seldom get it because though I need so much sleep , I have a hard time getting myself to fall asleep.

More like 6-8. It can vary a lot, but I think seven is a good estimate.

I can't sleep less than about 9-10 hours... I've always slept a lot more than most people for some reason. Just not productive at all with only 6 or 7 hours.

3-5 hours...it's bad but I am able to run off of only a little sleep. If I get more then I am tired for the whole day.

How could you sleep for so long? If I sleept for that long I'd never want to get up.

I don't know, I just do. I pretty much wake up at the same time everyday regardless of when I go to sleep, that's the main thing. Doesn't matter how many hours I sleep, my internal clock is set for me to wake up at a certain time each day and no matter what I do I can't seem to change that - so I just roll with it. But, hey, my mom wants me to go to bed at a normal time because she thinks I'll wake up at a normal time - but I never do - I just end up sleeping more.

However I'm not complaining really, I've got a sleep disorder so it's not uncommon for me to be tired during the day or fall asleep during the day at random. The longer I sleep soundly during the night, the less that tends to happen.

I actually tend to need more sleep if I get more sleep. If I get the standard 6-8, I am fairly productive and do not need more sleep. I find when I get ~6-6.5 I am the most productive. I focus better on 6-7 hours....once I start going over I just want to stay in bed and when I do get up my focus is horrible.

I need 8.5 to 10 hours of sleep a night. Otherwise I can't focus. I wish I was part of that small handful that can function on 2-3 hours of sleep. That would make things so much easier.

During the summer I usually get more than 8 hours of sleep, sometimes not as much (like 4 hours occasionally, I can't sleep sometimes :x). During the school year I usually get anywhere from 3-7 hours (depending on how much work I have and how much I procrastinate lol)

When I have school, I usually stay up to 12:30 and wake up at around 6 am. However, during summer I get around 8-9 hours of sleep most nights.

Theres certain cycles you go through of a night so whether you sleep for 5 or 10 once you go past the minimum recommended requirement its more important to wake up when you are at the right portion of a cycle then at a specific time of morning.

Ever wonder why you can oversleep and still feel tired?

I go to bed at 10, get up at 6, work out, Shower, eat breakfast, play videogames, check e-mail, and do the rest of the crap. Sometimes, however, After E-mail, I crawl back into bed.
