That is a very true comment! I have read another article about this in which it said skinnygirls.com was an emaciated fetish site. If she actually hopes to be an actual fashion model, then I feel sorry for her unrealistic goals...

She looks unhealthy. Not just from the waist, but the knees and elbows and neck.I don't see how that could be sexy, she looks so boney it would hurt to have sex with her.

She is wearing a corset that squeezed her viscera upward and downward. Even if she needs a double bacon cheeseburger, she would not be able to eat but a few bites as she would regurgitate her food since her stomach is probably pushed up to her chest cavity. Sitting down would be very painful. This is very unhealthy.

She says she weighs 84 pounds. How tall is she? Seventy-five to a hundred years ago she would have been in a circus or freak show, not modeling. Everytime she bent at the waist, I expected her to snap in half. That's just sad. Not a good role model for women at all.

I'm 5'7" and right now I weigh 124. I need to put back on about 10 pounds, but then again, I've been ill. I think they hire them because they look like hangers and their clothes seem to look better on hangers...;)

I can guarantee you her meals don't look anything like mine! Sure. Right. 3 large meals a day. Like Nicole Kidman...her lunch is the foam off a latte. She may be "natural" but that may well include having her lower ribs removed, or spending her growing years in a corselet to "shape" her figure like a lot of girls in the pagent circuit do. She'd look a lot better to me, even with the hourglass, if she weighed about 30 pounds more [think Dolly Parton in the late '60's/early '70's]. Still has the curves but not emaciated.
I, too, wonder about were her vicera are...

When I looked at her again, I realized that she's not "curvy," just skeletal. Literal skin on bone. I share your fear she'll be seen as the new standard of beauty.

Did you see the picture of her that I posted below? She does look like a skeleton with skin stretched over it. Why oh why do clothes designers hire these anorexic models that look like they will fly away with the first big gust of wind to show their clothes. Is it because their clothes look better on a walking hanger instead of a real woman??

Although she claims to eat 3 "big" meals a day, I wonder how accurate her statement is. She may eat 2 bites of carrot or celery and call that a big lunch..

According to the article it doesn't sound like she's anorexic (unless she's lying), but she is still severely underweight. I also have trouble believing she hasn't done corset training. Honestly I think at 5'6" and 84 lbs, she should go to the doctor and find out if there's a medical reason she can't gain weight (if she's in fact trying).

She looks like a) she's probably had some ribs removed, and b) she wears a corset. She doesn't look natural, that's for sure. She also doesn't look sexy in my opinion, either.

She may not be wearing a corset in the picture, but cinching in the waist is one way to make it that small. You wear the corset most of the time, so that even when you're not wearing it, your waist is abnormally small. Here's something I found on it. http://www.sylphide.de/eqa.php

I pray that young girls today will not look at her body shape as the new standard. Her body shape doesn't represent the body of a real woman. It is first of all not attractive. second, it is unrealistic..

I think it's hideous. Back in my young, thin days, I had a 22 inch waist. That was natural, though, and not due to any unnatural cinching. I certainly don't have it now, especially after children.
