Miss Rhode Island nude photos not a threat to her crown. Why the double standard?

Natasha May 12, 2009 01:10:39

While underwear clad photos of Carrie Prejean could cost the outspoken first runner up her crown, Pageant officials are ignoring Miss Rhode Island, Alysha Castonguay's, racier pictures. Supposedly Miss Rhode Island cleared her nude maxim magazine photo shoot before entering the pageant. Is there a double standard here because of Carrie Prejean's stance against gay marriage?
Yes, Miss Rhode Island's nude photos are allowed because of a double standard.
No, It's not because of a double standard that Miss Rhode Island's nude photos are allowed.
I think Miss Rhode Island...

They are overlooking Miss Rhode Island's indescresion while Carrie is condemed not for the photos, but because she spoke out against homosexuality. There is nothing wrong with either of the girls photos. One spoke out against a sin that has become prevailant and almost accepted in our immoral socity and that's why they are making this a big deal.

I don't find anything wrong with the pictures.
I think Prejean should lose the crown because she violated her contract by the televised appearances she made.
