Not super high but varies between 150/70 to 130/75, and rare occasion it would be 120/70. I have a genetic pre-disposition to HBP that is why I am very disciplined about my eating and exercise habits. I am slender but still have borderline high blood pressure and am taking medication for it. This is my fate and am seeing a cardiologist every 3 months.
they call it the silent killer. it is bad for so many organs, eyes, kidneys, brain and lungs. Truly, perhaps you are working me, but I mean this very sincerely, talk to your doctor, they have medication that will lower it with little side effects from the medication and your life will be better in the long run. Otherwise, stroke, blindness and death will follow. Not that any of us escape out of here alive, but I am assuming you would do what was easily accomplished to lead a healthier and longer life.
okay....but I was told this before...it's kinda hard to get the blood pressure pills steadily when you can't afford medical insurance for the pills which cost me 300 a month...but at least that is changing now...hopefully it will work out for me...
look for a free clinic or something, and once you are on your meds, contact the drug company and explain your position, many have a program to ease the financial burden on those taking their meds.
If you have high blood pressure. Take it from me, please treat it seriously.
Thank you for reminding me to take it.
