Yesterday, we told you all about Miley Cyrus getting engaged. Today, we have the scoop on her 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond engagement ring. "Hunger Games" hunk Liam Hemsworth, 22, told celebrity jeweler Neil Lane he wanted "something unusual" for 19-year-old Miley, Lane tells People magazine. "Something really beautiful and romantic."

According to People, the ring is handcrafted in 18-karat gold with intricately carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern. The center stone is an antique dating back to the late 19th century.

"It was hand-cut around 1880 or 1890 and it’s unique and in its original form,” Lane says. “At that time no two diamonds were alike, as they were all hand-cut, so it’s fascinating to look at because it hasn’t been re-cut to look contemporary over the years. I find that really romantic." He adds, "The light flashes and sparkles no matter where Miley moves her hand."

Lane says he and Hemsworth "worked back and forth and it’s everything he was looking for." It was completed last week, and Hemworth popped the question on May 31. Miley certainly seems like a happy girl. She tweeted on Wednesday: “Thank you for all the love today. I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true.”

The ring is a very unique piece that's for sure. I would love something that gorgeous to be hangin off my finger that's for sure! But, to be honest, i don't think these guys are gonna last more than a year...before the they decide to divorce because Liam won't be able to handle Miley's very strong and overbearing personality....She is enough to drive anyone insane and he must be a very paitent man to have to deal with her everytime she throws one of her tantrums lol...

I'm sure she likes it. That's what's important, and celebs tend to go for things that are gaudy, which is what I find this piece.

The ring is absolutely stunning. Much more meaningful and well-thought out than the average celebrity ring it seems. Still, I do hope it's a long engagement. At that age, it's difficult to truly be able to tell what one wants in life and in a spouse. The best of luck to both of them though and I wish them happiness regardless of what happens.

I'm aware of that. This is the 21st century and in the great US of A, there's laws that say the legal age to get married is 18 (varies to state).

Yes I know shes 19 but getting married at a early age is bad. I just hope she sticks with him and doesn't get divorces like the other celebrities.

I bet she'll be asked to give it back within a year. They've got at least 2 things working against them: 1) Hollywood values & lifestyle, 2) their age. I wish them the best, but statistics are not in their favor. And wow, all her "dreams are coming true." Boy, is she in for a surprise when all those "dreams" come tumbling down when day-to-day life sets in. I hope her parents have her well-prepared for real life.
