Microsoft has laid of 5,000 employees and many of them say Vista is too blame. Microsoft is doing the same stuff to us as the Big 3 car companies. Providing us a sub par product, expecting us to buy, when we complain we are offered fixes (patches). Why should we have to accept an inferior product? We consumer will have to learn to unite and boycott some of the crap that is being produced in this country. Costumer Service is also a dying practice. In the old days a company would do almost anything to appease the customer. hell, my mom would get a set of dishes with a fill up back in the 60's and I'd get a set of plastic dinosaurs at the Sinclare station when I was kid. You got a problem with Microsoft products they want you buy something else to fix the problem. Oh, has anyone else heard that the pro-Windows Vista commercials were made with a Mac?

Every other company is going through layoffs as well, it's the crapped out economy that's causing it.
There is a chance Vista is partially to blame, but I don't think it's the complete fault of it.

Think about it. The economy is doing poorly. It would be like saying Exxon/Mobil's gas was the reason that they laid off people(example only). Small businesses as well as big businesses(like Microsoft) are suffering right now.
