Michelle Obama has done it again. She has managed to look chic in a $39.99 dress, which she wore over the weekend at a press event in Florida, TODAY.com reports. That said, Michelle Obama's navy floral chiffon dress happens to be from the coveted Jason Wu for Target collection, which makes it slightly more fashionable.

The first lady -- who is known to customize her outfits -- replaced the gold belt with a red one and layered the look with a a royal blue cardigan, The Huffington Post reports. The occasion? Eating dinner with a local family in Ocoee, Fla.
Mrs. Obama is basically responsible for launching Wu's career when she wore one of his gowns to the president's 2009 inaugural ball. Wu's new, cheaper line has been a hot seller at Target since it launched on Super Bowl Sunday -- a Florida couple bought $7,000 worth with the intention of making a profit when the line sells out, according to The Daily Mail.
Do you love how the first lady (like Kate Middleton) wears "ordinary" designers that real people can afford? Or should she class it up beyond a $39.99 dress? She is married to the president of the United States, after all...

Is it just my imagination or are there people who can't accept anything she does?
but its a big fat political joke---because it was pointed out that it was so inexpensive----so are you telling me that the Obamas are frugal now?! LOL!!! Why didn't she point out all those $5,000 designer outfits and the 20 people she had with her to "attempt" to make her presentable for their trips??
She is as much of a politician as her wannabe dictator career politician husband... always getting the votes..... yep----frugal people make responsible and "frugal" leaders...
people are such sheep.
especially when she is wearing $2000 dresses and $1000 skirts in Hawaii right???

or wearing $540 sneakers while helping the poor

...boy you sure bit on that political propaganda did you....and I wonder why somebody like him won the election???? I guess maybe I'm the idiot.
Since you responded like that----I'd guess that you must've voted for no credit limit/hope and change/debt boy----your great grandchildren will really appreciate you for it as they continue to be slaves to bankster interest....
Wearing this dress and broadcasting that it was inexpensive was an orchestrated stunt in a desperate campaign to rehab the image of Michelle Obama, who Americans have learned is a bizarre hybrid of Marie Antoinette
and a New Black Panther thug.
"Can Michelle Obama's Media Blitz Erase Her 'Angry Black Woman' Image?
In this election year, though, there is a whole lot more going on "under the radar." While still widely admired, Mrs. Obama has come under considerable criticism for her "angry Black woman" attitudes and her comments revealing, shall we say, a lack of enthusiasm about America and conveying an unseemly attitude of superiority toward mainstream Americans. Something had to be done before the fall election."
