Ellen DeGeneres and Michelle Obama both made us laugh on Monday, when Ellen revealed the first lady's golden prom dress. "That split was a little high. I don't know if I'd let my kids go out with a split that high," Mrs. O said. "So let's not show this to Sasha and Malia."

We'd have to agree -- that dress was a little racy for prom, especially back in 1982! But Ellen also made us giggle when she pointed out the first lady's choice of chair. "Were you shopping at Pier 1 or something?" Ellen joked. The first lady, who was visiting military families in Jacksonville, Fla., gamely responded: "You've never done the wicker chair shot? It's standard." So ... do you think Michelle's "split" (slit?) was too high for prom? Or totally appropriate? PS: Ellen's "tablecloth" dress was pretty ridiculous, too!

"HER ASS IS HUGE!!!!!"
"HOW DARE SHE SPEND THAT MONEY ON A DRESS WHEN AMERICANS ARE STARVING!"
"LOOK HOW GHETTO THAT GORILLA IS!! (BUT I'M NOT A RACIST)."
-Insert crappily photoshopped pictures in addition to the aforementioned attacks.
It's the same crap every time and I don't understand how the staff here aren't tired of of reading it.
I personally love this one dedicated to her haters:
Oh and we can't forget to toast to them either!
So, too high of a slit? Too low of a slit? Too high of a hemline? Too low? too formal? Too country? ALL of those get addressed and appropriate attire gets selected based on answers on social media sites like this one.
