Michelle Obama Dons a $6,800 Jacket: Does it Offend You When the First Lady Wears Expensive Clothes?

The First Lady has always in recent memory worn expensive clothes. Only fashion watches can really tell. Whether they are expensive jeans, shoes the average person can't tell. The gowns that she wears doing events are expensive.

Actually michelle said it years ago when asked, where do she buy her clothes, the answer was "J Crew"

It doesn't offend me at all...

What does offend me is when she and her husband make a big deal out of other people's wardrobe...

Like they did when the REPUBLICAN PARTY paid for Palins wardrobe during the election...the Dems acted like it came out of THEIR pocket...

Ann Romney spends her OWN money on a blouse...and she's an elitist 1% er...

Yet, While partying on the town wearing three allegedly 'barrowed' very pricey diamonds by Katie Decker, including Decker's "Lotus" cuff with 2.9 carat diamonds costing at $15,000, the "Gothic" cuff with 2.17 carats diamonds for $15,350 and the "Quatrefoil" bracelet featuring 1.73 carat diamond priced at $11,800...makes her a fashionista of the people...


While Michelle says I have to ask for french fries in my kids happy meals, but settles with half a portion of fries and a bag of apples...

It's a 'double with cheese a large fry and and a large shake' for her and the family...

It is crazy to spend that kind of money, when her husband has just put America in debit to the point that we may never get out.

Our debt is due to the fact that," We The People" have been and still are asleep at the wheel from the inception of the federal reserve act of 1913. The Central Banks are whom the blame should be cast and ourselves. The FED is unconstitutional!

Why such extravagence in these economically troubled times .... because in the Obama's case, money can't buy you class!

The First Lady represents our nation and should dress accordingly. Does anybody think she should go hit the summer clearance sale at Wal-Mart? Name clothes DO cost a great deal, regardless of who you are. (Go for a stroll through a high-end store like Nordstrom's or Saks and brace yourself for sticker shock.)

Yes , she is the First Lady..... But, its definitely in poor taste to be so extravagant and lavish on her taste in clothes when the USA is in such bad shape. Especially now when there are way more on welfare then the whole history of the USA and unemployment is still horrible with no signs of recovery....I do believe the Obama's are out of touch with the majority of Americans.

She is very likely given many of her clothes to wear, because it helps those designers when their clothes are seen.

Just like the hollywood celebs who wear expensive dresses to the awards, those are given to them! They do not buy them, the designers WANT the celebs to be seen in their clothes.
