It almost seems like the First Lady can't win because she has also been criticized for wearing "cheap" clothing, but that seems to be the status quo for females in the political world. I doubt that this "transparent" white house would ever permit an independent inquiry.
Most of us would step up to the high expectations if we became First Lady, out of respect for the presidency. I certainly would always try to look my best, and never trashy.
Jacqueline Kennedy was the ideal modern First Lady. I miss those days so much.
Words cannot describe how little I care about any first lady.
