Is this a classic case of "Let them eat cake"?
Michelle Obama was spotted this week carrying a handbag that retails for almost $1,000, White House Dossier reports.
The purse is a large two-tone tote in teal by Reed Krakoff, which was for sale on Krakoff’s website for $990, until it was sold out.
On one hand, we think it's kind of insensitive of the first lady to carry such an expensive bag while the economy is still recovering from the recession.
On the other, we feel Obama is damned when she does and damned when she doesn't: She was also criticized recently for wearing a $35 dress from cheap-o chain H and M on the "Today" show.
Should the first lady find some kind of middle ground between cheap and outrageous? Or should she wear whatever the heck she wants?

Remember that Palin happened to spend $150,000 on clothes... JUST SAYIN'.
After the campaign, those clothes were donated to charity.
Get your facts straight or you just look silly.

Also just for a heads up... even though ive never owned a purse that cost more then 30 bucks even i know thats still not a very expensive purse in the realms of the rich. Purses can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. A thousand dollar one is pretty cheap for the mega rich.
I just feel ... put YOUR money where your mouth is Moochelle.
They want other peoples incomes to pay for the moocher class. Why didn't they pay full fare in 2010 instead to 26% ?
The posers only found it in their hearts to share their largess with others when he decided to run for office.
You can bet Moochelle's over-sized behind I am bent out of shape !

Tell ya what...Zach ....you find where Palin was pissin' & moanin' about sacrificing like Mooch ...bellyachin' about redistributing my hard earned taxpayer dollars to keep moochers afloat...and I will agree.
