Cannibal attacks and bath salts have received a lot of media attention after Rudy Eugene gnawed off the face of a homeless man in Miami Beach. The media and police focused on bath salts as the potential culprit for the cannibal-like attack. But a coroner's report showed that Rudy Eugene had no signs of drugs in his body other than (drum roll) Marijuana.

Did Marijuana cause the cannibal attack? Did the coroner make a mistake? Or did the coroner participate in a conspiracy against Marijuana by lying about the evidence of drugs in Rudy Eugene's body?

Drugs of any kind have an effect on humans. Caffeine, heroine, PCP, bath salts and even Marijuana change human behavior. Do you consider Marijuana dangerous?

Yahoo News Reports:A Miami man killed by police after he chewed off a big chunk of the face of a homeless man had marijuana in his system but no other drugs, authorities said on Wednesday. Police had speculated that Rudy Eugene, who was found naked gnawing on his victim's face on the off-ramp of a downtown Miami bridge, may have been under the influence of a synthetic drug known as bath salts at the time of the attack. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department said in a statement that results from toxicology tests identified only components of marijuana. ...

"Gimme some "Face" Baby!" ....... I think that the idea of marijuana being a key factor here would be only masking more serious issues this person has.

Marijuana is an herb, and like most herbs and foods, they contain chemicals. I think he was high on potatoes. It makes just as much sense.

Nice try by the media to twist this into something it's not I've been smoking marijuana for over 30 years and never have I felt the need to eat anyone. Obviously this person has other mental issues possibly enhanced by the use of marijuana but marijuana is not the cause.
Marijuana stay in your system for up to 90 days after each use did the coroner report at what levels of THC were found in the toxicology report ? Probably not

Not anybody I have known and I've worked in a drug/alcohol rehab center has been affected like this.

Sounds like there were other issues, like mental illness, perhaps.

In a case like this, marijuana is irrelevant. No sane person would commit such a heinous act. I have seen so much of this kind of blame just because people often grab anything they can think of to say, "see, I am right and better than you."

It is the same mindset I encountered when I and 3 friends were patiently waiting for oncoming traffic to ease up so we could turn left. The next thing I remember was being still in the front seat, but that was in the back seat, so when I came to, I saw sky--talk about confused. There were 4 of us in each car. 3 from the other were a bloody mess. The idiots at what is supposed to be a world-renowned hospital sent 1 ambulance for 8 people (a 45-minute trip one3 day and refused to return). Though I fared worst, I yielded to them because of all the blood, and we got ourselves home.

Meanwhile, a crowd had gathered. They even had a spokesman telling exactly what happened. You didn't have to be there back then if a man's hair grew to an inch below his earlobe, he was stoned, uneducated and unemployed--it has changed in many cases. He got them all worked up, "Those damn hippies. They know there's a car behind them and the idiots go and slam on the brakes". This was long ago, but drugs were undoubtedly implicated. He got them all worked up, "Those damn hippies. They know there's a car behind them and the idiots go and slam on the brakes". This was long ago, but drugs were undoubtedly implicated. We had been sitting some time--no one slammed on the brakes except the guy who said, "I looked up and saw the back end of a car." He was doing sixty and saw us 5 feet before he hit us. Even he admitted guilt and a crowd of people had a great story to tell about how being a hippy means you must be on drugs, and responsible for whatever happens which is all really bad. I wonder how many people can actually really work with a mind open to truth, instead of dogma. And after a sixty mile slam, we were guilty because one guy had hair that wouldn't even be considered long today, and being teens, were probably dressed for the times.

In both cases, they are 2 separate issues. The first one is just gruesome. What's really wierd is that just a few months ago, I saw 2 shows in which pet chimps ate people's faces off. I see this guy as a deranged animal.

This is a tall tale, brought to you by local law enforcement. A drug test is not designed to test for bath salts and a whole list of other things that could have possibly caused his outlandish behavior.

    Because I checked my 'happenings.'

    Duh

    Furthermore, because I CAN.

    Hint;

Online conversations don't happen in real time.

Imagine your own response if someone in real life came up to you responding to something you'd said in a conversation that you'd had four months ago.

Now seek out other people who are actually interested in conversing with you.

    Here's another hint:

    I'm not one of them.

They are lying. Maybe the marijuana was laced with something, maybe the coroner chose to exclude a few chemicals from the toxicology so that they didn't show up in the results. Maybe the government sees the direction NORML is headed, and is fighting like a spoiled child to prevent it. We really think the government is honest and truthful with the people at this point? All creditability has gone down the drain, when money and profits are more important than the truth.

No idiot that is not true....take it from a retired cop (30) years Miami Dade
Alcohol is at least 30 times more dangerous for a cop in an arrest situation. Over 750,000 teens are arrested each year for mere Marijuana possession and over 900,000 teens sell it or distribute it in high school because it is easier for them to obtain off the streets because dealers don't card them. Teens tell me this all the time. They are getting a VERY dangerous product off the street laced with meth and much more dangerous stuff/chemicals.
Obama won't make it a schedule II drug with a swipe of a pen which can then be prescribe to people who need it medically as well. Obama is showing his true colors because he is MORE CONCERNED THAN GOING DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT TO LEGALIZE DOPE. AND HE KNOWS THIS BELIEVE AS I HAVE WORKED FOR 7 PRESIDENTS AS A RETIRED FEDERAL AGENT NEAR DC.

It is only dangerous because it is Not legal so we get dangerous marijuana from Mexico, laced with DDT, Diazinon, chlordane and finally this year Methamphetamine.
Needs to be legalized and regulated like tobacco and alcohol. Prohibition does not work. Won.t we ever learn.

Diazinon?!? I am speechless. I know the effects of Diazinon because a certain SOB sprayed me with it repeatedly--it filled my bedroom with clouds I lost my cat, my ability to function, I lost everything I had left of my health which had been improving through a lot of hard work on my part. The agricultural commission tried to say that being six feet away while it is being sprayed is safe despite the label saying workers had to stay out of fields for 5 days after it is used. They usually end up in a cancer hospital regardless. Diazinon is suffering and death--the long slow lingering unbearable suffering for years kind of death. Knowing the dangers is enough reason to legalize pot. This SOB had a license to kill as a pesticide applicator. Even he was required by law to follow the warnings on the label, to give 24 hour notice, and one that workers were not to be allowed in the fields for 5 days after a spray. They said i was exempt because I was not a worker. Technically the label only implies field workers, so technically, I was a disabled worker, on the road to recovery. He shoved me off a cliff and put me on the road to hell. Myabe some pot would have cleared his head enough to know what an evil thing he was doing. Long long story short. It is not marijuana that is dangerous, it is the drug war, and why then are not most herbs and foods also illegal, they also contain chemicals.
