Merry Christmas! Are You Spending Time With Family Today?

Just my wife. Get-togethers with the kids and their families will come later.

I did on Christmas and it was wonderful.

Spending all day with family.

Yes, I did!

We had a fairly quiet Christmas, but today is boxing day and our daughter&son; in law are coming with their four lovely kids. We saw them Christmas eve while mum & dad went shopping for last minute stuff. Ilove having them come over now they are getting older their week ends are taken up by rugby and martial arts.

YES!! Thankfully this is the first year in 4 that we were all in one place! The military has had one or two family members at a time over in the war zone. This year was the FIRST in 4 that we were all in the same place. Plus had a new baby with her mom and dad and one extra from the local Marine Corp base who couldn't get home.

The ONLY bad part of today is that one son who is stationed at the local Marine Corp base, he's a Navy Medic, and he had Brig duty all day today, but he was here Christmas Eve and I got photo's with ALL of my big happy bunch of kiddo's. That was the best gift for me - just having them all here. I loved it last night, they all sat on the living room floor and played board games - and they reminisced and LAUGHED and had the best time. And the best gift of all was the joy I got out of just being in the room watching them interact. :)

And I thank God every day that I have one to spend it with.

We had a Wonderful dinner with family & friends. This was a very nice Christmas.

Family time was yesterday.

During the day, but I work tonight...

I spent the whole day with em.

It's all shut up and smile.

That is what the season is all about spening time with family. People forget that.

just my sweet husband and son, but received some phone calls. We had planned a trip, but we all got sick, so that is life for you. Enjoy the rest of the day.

That and a White Christmas have made this a fantastic day!!!!

My grandparents, aunt, and uncle came over today.

Every Christmas. Whether I'm in California with my mum's or Maryland with dad's. That's what Christmas is for:)

we celebrate the 24th though, but ya, family time both yesterday and today and 23th too :) divorced parents though, celebrated at dads place this year

Had a wonderful morning with my daughter.

What is left of the family lives in a different state and none of us has the means to travel this year.

sounds like you are kinds like us, just mt hysband and son as usual. Because of my daughter-on-law dislike for us, my other son and granddaughters stay away on the holidays.
So life is what it is and we all make do and carry on. My best to you, and your new dog, luv-luv this Christmas Day.

No no, just sitting here with the cat.

Just had two or three slices of fresh-baked glazed ham, and the usual trimmings.

It really bites, being home alone on Christmas to sick to go anywhere!!!

Sorry to hear that. Well I'm here...your friend. It's just me and my Luv Luv...but he's my family.
My fishies are here too. :-) lol

I am sorry to hear you are alone(no humans) either. It just is not the same without people around on Christmas. We can always count on our pets to keep us company,share our lives and "Luv" us unconditionally. :0)

It's ok, use to it. Been a loner most of life. I believe pets treat you better that most humans. So grateful for mine. I'm sorry you are alone, if it bothers you.
