The bra is generally accepted as a necessity and a sort of coming-of-age token by many in today's society, but we often take for granted that bras haven't always been around.
Mary Phelps Jacob was awarded the patent for the bra in 1914 but Austrian archaeologists recently discovered four bras from the 1400s. This pushes back the invention 500 years, making the lingerie staple's longevity even more impressive. Do you think the bra has become a type of fashion statement as of late -- or is it just an inconvenient necessity?

Oh, boobs are going to sag anyways when you're older, whether you wear a bra or not.
For A's and maybe B's they could probably get away without them. But a large B and above, it's tough if not impossible to go without one.
