McDonald's Ranks Last in Customer Satisfaction Index - Which one do like best?

Overall in the survey's findings, fast food satisfaction grew 1.3 percent since last year, while full-service restaurants, including Olive Garden and Chili's, dropped 2.4 percent.

The ACSI score for each company is based on a sample of 250 customer interviews from more than 70,000 annually-conducted surveys.

Here's the breakdown:

Papa John's 83%

Subway 82%

Little Caesar 82%

Dunkin Donuts 79%

Pizza Hut 78%

Wendy's 78%

Domino's Pizza 77%

Taco Bell 77%

Starbucks 76%

KFC 75%

Burger King 75%

McDonald's 73%

Wendy's has the best Customer Service... it's a concept that has virtually disappeared from McDonalds, KFC and Taco Bell.

250 out of 70,000...hmmm. I know for a fact that McDonald's is constantly checking and testing the customer service in this area. From personal experience, all have given both excellent and crappy service at times.

yeah i worked at one for 2 weeks......mcdonalds gets their food out pretty darn fast....i think its a load of crawp personally.

I base my opinion of a business on personal experience. What someone thinks of a chain is not indicative of the performance of a particular franchise, though some, such as McDonald's and BWW, do regularly test their franchises for quality and service. Personally, I think McDonald's has gotten a bad name because, as the leading chain, they get singled out for criticism, just as they did with the documentary "Super Size Me". That resulted in McDonald's scrapping their super size menu, yet I didn't hear anyone bitching when BK and Hardee's followed with glutton-sized sandwiches.

I've had occasional bad customer service at every fast food place I've been to. I cut them some slack and remember being a kid doing that kind of job -- which I hated. Just the same, I don't think any of the ones on the list are a lot better than any of the others.

You have to rank fast food restaurants and more formal restaurants in separate categories. It also depends on different states, towns, areas such restaurants are located. One McDonald's can have better service and food than another McDonald's somewhere else. My favorite is Subway. For more formal dining I like "Olive Garden" "Sizzler" and "Red Lobster." Of course then I can go higher to more exclusive
restaurants.

most food chains have pretty good cust service, and fix any mistakes that they might make......considering how many people go through the drive throughs and walk in during a day.....its pretty darn impressive!

Oh Yeah.My close friend from High School was a manager of several fast food chains & at Big Boy when they were in Texas.I have hung out at many places where he worked. I was a hot shot courier for 5 years & went to alot of them. Wendy's is favorite national chain,along with Soniic's,but the best is Texas own Whataburger. They are now in the South from Texas to Florida.

Wendy's does have good food and service. Actually I found Burger King far worse than McDonald's.
