Mayor of London stuck on a zip line. Did Mitt Romney get the last laugh?

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson got in a beef with Mitt Romney when Mitt wondered if the British had prepared adequately to host the Olympic games.

Few things terrify me more than the thought of a British dude coming at me ass-first in a love swing (and I have been shot at before).

“There are some people who are coming from around the world who don’t yet know about all the preparations we’ve done to get London ready in the last seven years,” Johnson said. “I hear there’s a guy called Mitt Romney who wants to know whether we’re ready. He wants to know whether we’re ready.
“Are we ready? Are we ready? Yes, we are!” Johnson says, exhorting the crowd to cheer.
MAYBE NOT BORIS.

Let everyone get a good look at a dumb ass.
Call it the zippety-do-dope.
Anyway, I'd only consider a yes if the event was in some way related to Mitt Romney, which this wasn't.
This at best is someone a cheap revenge shot without logical standing.
Boris isn't a red though, he's a Conservative!
There are no British conservatives that Americans would recognize.
You are right though, in that the parties on the right of our conservatives are usually racist.
I find that the left and the extreme right in the UK are equally racist.
The BNP wants to favor Anglo-Britons and Labor party wants to put Anglo-Britons last.
Being a non-racist means race does not matter.
Race quotas for non-whites is identically racist as whites-only policies yet liberals give liberals a pass on racism while simultaneously shrieking of racism from the right.
Interesting isn't it?
Why the bigotry against polygamy?
However if you do have a certain moral opinion on a subject and you think it's more important than economic policy you can vote for one of the many fringe parties or even start your own party. Unlike the US where you only have two options and if you don't agree with either, you have no voice at all.
I didn't know know that there was anymore bigotry against polygamy here than there is in America. I have never heard anyone even talk about it.
Britons love big government.
A once proud nation is now a quivering collection of (mostly) cowards sucking their thumbs and looking for big-mommy government to care for them.
The US is just a few decades behind the UK.
Shame.
British papers.......... I read it before Mill's plane left the mainland.
