Maybe someone could explain this to me...?

There's this kid in our apartment complex, a young girl, Not sure how old. Maybe twelve...? Anyway one day I was sitting in the apartment, had the blinds open, and was reading a book. Out of the corner of my eye I I see someone move in front of the window, and stand there for a moment. I look up, and this little girl is standing there, dressed like her parents don't care. A small tight shirt and shorts short and tight enough they look like their trying to replace her lags, and she's just smirking at me. It's the look of amused disgust that many full blown teens don't even like to show very much, let alone adults. I attempt to ignore it, go back to my book, but she keeps standing there just looking at me as if she had seen the most disgusting thing ever. I give her a look that says "WTF?!" and she wandered off, but not before I saw her laughing quietly to herself as if I were the biggest idiot on the planet. Than another time I moving some stuff and found an old "Simpson's" cap in a container. She was the only kid outside, and wasn't looking at me. I asked her if she wanted it, and she started to turn with polite interest like any kid would, but as soon as she saw me she simply stopped, and the "Oh it's THIS idiot again" smirk resurfaced. She simply stood there with her hand on one hip, looking me straight in the eye and basically seemed to challenge me somehow. I snapped this time. "Do you want it or not?!" I demanded. She giggled, shook her head, and waved a dismissive hand at me as she walked off again. I don't look or act particularly strange, and had never spoken to this girl or her family. Both times I was fully clothed, (not in boxers or anything) and even had a shirt on. I swear this was the creepiest little child and she pissed me off too. Can ANYONE explain this?

She's probably a troll. If she does it again, adopt a similar look and stare back. Don't do anything more drastic, as legal complications might occur.reply - Jdogg 2012/07/10 05:16:20 (edited)
Keep your binds closed, Always remember lot's of children have no respect for adults, When you see this child and she says something smart just Ignore her, reply - ✩Batman's✩Epic✩Understudy✩ 2012/07/10 03:07:08
This is beyond rude! I bet she had some friend or something she was trying to "be cool" for -_- Other than that I have no idea what could have been going on in her headreply -
+1I KNOW!!! And that's not the only time something like it has happened either! It's always either younger women or VERY young girls who decide to do this. Never had a guy do it, and It's only ever been two or three of the young girls. They are always random like this one when it's kids. Some daughter with her family at a store or a restaurant will walk by, look at me, and give a quiet little laugh meant only for me to hear. The adults have been less random, but have still never figured it out. They worked at places I had lived over the years, and will talk to me, but they do it with this curious half confused little smile, and will either laugh before everything they answer when I talk to them, or will sometimes just laugh, and when I ask for an explanation they just smile and say "Nothing", or "Uhh... I dunno dude..." and just keep laughing. But these are people who deal normally with everyone else, anc seemingly just single me out for no reason at all. I mean what the hell?!reply - ✩Batman... America's society is socially digressing.. -_- This sounds extremely annoying. I remember one time I was out kayaking with a few friends and this 10 year old girl with her friends were laughing at me weirdly (she was swimming as we were passing by) and she was yelling at me, IS YOUR NAME SARAH? and I was like no, I'm not Sarah.. and she kept yelling at me over and over again insisting that I was Sarah as her parents were just watching and drinking beers on the beach. At first I thought maybe it was an honest mistake, but then I realized she was just messing with me. My friend flipped her off and she shut up finally, still giggling.reply -
+1I'll be honest, I sort of "enjoyed" when the older ones would do it, but none of them ever made any sence. The ones who did it never knew each other, as they all worked at different places, but they all did pretty much exactly the same thing for no clear or explained reason. I never knew why. But these young ones really do piss me off. They'll just walk past, take a quick glance, and then I'll hear an obviously fake little Ah-ah-ah chuckle that is too quiet for anyone else to hear. What am I supposed to DO about that?reply - ✩Batman... Christm... 2012/07/10 03:37:52
That's just annoying! Kids need to be more respectful.reply -
+1Yep. You can't tell the kid off, because the parents would jump you, and you can't tell the PARENTS anything, because the kid would play angel and they'd think your a freak or something!. As I said though, I did sort of like it when the older ones did it, although it could get annoying if I was in the wrong mood, but none of them had any way to know it, and even if they had, I was a kid, so why would they want to turn on a kid? When I tried to ask them to explain their laughter they just laughed even harder, which wasn't always bad, but never told me anything. This has become something of a phenomena for me. Not very often at all, but with a definite frequency over the years. Even though I liked it when the older ones did it, It makes me mad now that I could never find out WHY it kept happening...reply - ✩Batman... Christm... 2012/07/10 18:18:18
That's really strange! I too wonder why that is. I would get extremely frustrated also if they didn't explain themselves.reply -
+1yep. none of them knew each other, they all did exactly the same thing pretty much, and it just seemed to be something about me that brought it out in them, whatever it is. then there are the younger girls who regularly (though not as often) give me secret smirks and laughter. not normal playful or nervous giggles, but actually cruel teasing laughter as if they find me stupid or something. before this one there were two little girls in a bikeshop back in cali. the owner's family i guess, they sat behind the counter, looked about nine or ten, and spent my whole visit quietly laughing at me. they would stare at me smirking, one would whisper something to the other, and they would both look directly at me with a cruel look and burst into subdued laughter. the owner never knew. and i don't really get it either. i doubt it matters, but it makes you seriously wonder...reply - ✩Batman... That's ridiculous!! And weird because it's so repetitive. Such unbelievable NERVE these people must have!! >:(reply -
+1You know it. It's weird repetitiveness is exactly what finally prompted me to ask this. I have seen similar questions on other websites from various people (not just men, but women too, and not always just females who DO it, but randomely find themselves treated this way by MANY random people. none of THEM has ever really gotten a real answer either.reply - ✩Batman... Christm... 2012/07/17 00:45:57
That's kind of spooky in a wayreply -
+1Yep. I even read one by some guy who claimed that middle school aged girls constantly went out of their way to do this to him when ever he was out. Like he'd be eating in a restaurant and a group of random young girls would brush right past his table and his table only out of all the other areas there were, and go out of their way to loudly giggle at him as they passed, or if he went out for a morning walk, girls on their way to school would double over giggling as soon as they saw him. Another guy says that his whole life random people (males and females of almost any age) will just randomely try to stare him down where ever he is, not saying or doing anything other than looking at him in really angry ways like they want to fight him or something. He even said that once some guy saw him walking towards him, began looking really pissed off, and sped up HIS walking as if trying to purposely slam into him. When he politely stepped aside, this man kept walking, yet looked over his shoulder at him in apparent rage. These were supposedly always just random people on the street that he had never even seen before. I'll try to find the actual stories again if I can to show you.reply - ✩Batman... Christm... 2012/07/18 00:06:52
Wow. That's extra weird. I can't in a million years imagine what could possibly cause that kind of reaction to someone who isn't doing anything. None of the stories have any theories along with them?reply -
+1well there are a few joking "It's a conspiracy" type things, and others say bad body language or postures. Other than these, there is pretty much just the flat "Quit Trolling" responce of stupid people who don't want to help. Lemme go look for something really quick, see if I can't find at least one of them...reply -
+1Managed to find (one) of the (several) things I've read about young girls giggling at some random person for no reason whatsoever. Still looking for the "random angry stares" story. Wait. This damn thing refuses to paste it! I'll get it to you, don't worry. going right back now.reply -
+1Sorry. Don't know what the hell this thing's problem is. But the site was something like Body Building Forums or something like that, and the actual story was something like "Young Girls Always Randomely Laugh And Giggle At Me" or something close to it. Neither of these names are exact, and I don't have time to check it again. But if you type those into Google it should come up in the results.reply - ✩Batman... Christm... 2012/07/19 01:13:12

Sounds like she doesn't have much parental guidance, and anything could be going on in her home life. Don't be too hard on the kid, she is just a kid after all. But you see it all the time anymore, kids who dress very inappropriately for any age. You can't tell if they are 12 or 25. I would say since I came from a very abusive childhood, she might be in the same boat. Be polite, but don't be too Nice if you know what I mean. Kids like that tend to take things the wrong way. And I wouldn't want you put in an weird position.reply -
+1Yeah, same here. My mom was a nut on steroids which were THEMSELVES on steroids, and I never even MET the freak who knocked her up. No letters, no pictures, no nothing. She messed me up royal. I know your pain...reply
