I just find this guy funny! What exactly is he trying to do? Jesus himself said that nobody knows the hour and the time except the Father. So is Harold trying to say that he knows better than Jesus? The bible foretold the fall of the world empire of false religion first before the end will come. We didn't see that happening yet.
What about you people? Do you believe in this 21st May thingy?
I am having a rapture party on that day for all the sinners who will be left behind.
Here is my poster.
If it is real we are organizing a mob to loot the homes of the Raptured Christians. YEAH!
SHEESH If the earth is going to end it will..Until then im having as much fun as i can. I don't care how much crap this man or anyone else tries to throw at me.
I don't believe him. However, all of this has me thinking.......
Why do millions of people believe him? There are I think thousands of previously intelligent people who had good jobs buying into this. They have left their jobs and homes and are out there running around spouting this stuff. I'm just baffled by all this.
They don't even mention anything about accepting Jesus as your savior in order to be saved. Plus, I studied closely there reasoning...and it doesn't make sense. They use a passage in Genesis when God tells Noah that in 7 days he would flood the earth....and then they say that means Judgment day itself is in 7000 years. Because in Peter chapter2 I think it is God says 1000 years is like a day.
Why camping thinks that means judgment day is going to be 7000 years from the time of the flood is beyond me.
Oh yeah! I read about that too. As you said, it really doesn’t make any sense. He is referring to few scriptures in the book of Genesis to come to that conclusion and it’s not even inline with the context. He was saying that 2% will be raptured to heaven and the rest will be dying here. And where does it say in the bible about that? I gotta feeling that he is out there for money. He is trying to convince as many people as he can to sell off their possession and contribute to his so-called “Judgment Day” campaign. I wonder what will happen when all his believers wake up on 22nd and realized that they have been conned by this “false prophet”
i've heard 10 different dates in my lifetime, and low and behold they have all passed and we are still here! the end will be brought on by man himself most likely? and no one knows when some nut job will get the weapons and make it happen? 05/21/2011? 12/21/2012? who knows?
And so is all religion ! What more proof do you need than all the cuckcoos running around proclaiming this and that for centuries , and nothing ever happens as predicted !
Born and raised as one but found the true truth and left the supernatural and paranormal, surreal and occult to the dumkofphs that need that to get by while the religious leaders fleece them and molest their children .
God was created by man , not the other way around. Gods were created by the elite ,the witch doctors and the shamans to gain power and control over the tribes they belonged to . It was a power play and still is as is proven by all the followers of these so called religious experts and, priests, mullahs and the like ! Face reality and learn religious history !
Sing this on Sunday morning, in honor of the “Reverend” Harold Camping.
(Click the sheet music for a website with larger, easier-to-read image, plus learning tracks for all four parts.)
You could sing it by yourself, in harmony:
Pretend to be a chorus instead of a quartet — again, all by yourself:
Sing it with a friend or two or three (even if they don’t live anywhere near you, nor even on the same planetary land mass!):
Or form a live quartet:
And if there’s another quartet nearby, challenge ’em to a Tag Battle!
Nor the end of the world, and not the end of Camping's Doomsday predictions. It didn't stop him when his 1994 prediction turned out to be nonsense. On May 22, Camping will just recalculate and publish a new book touting his next Doomsday clock.
You would think that Christians would know enough about the Bible they claim to be their sacred guide to know that twice, in Matthew and Mark, Christ himself said that NO man knows the hour or day of the end times, not even the angels in Heaven, not even the Son. Only God knows. You might think they would know that. But of course, for many of them you would be wrong. They hold all sorts of beliefs they have been told are Christianity but that are in direct conflict with the Bible.
This whole rapture thing is beyond absurd. IF Jesus was to return to Earth...all these holy rolling so-called Christians would probably treat him the way they do all Palestinians and want to shoot him.
You say "The bible foretold the fall of the world empire of false religion first before the end will come. We didn't see that happening yet." Yep... the world empire of false religion has not fallen yet. The Vatican and Evangelicals are still here.
gotta agree with you for the second part of your comment! As for Jesus return, it's strange that the bible didn't mention anything like what the churches are teaching now. The bible didn't mention that Christ will return to earth with his fleshly body. There is no need for that. Christ’s return really refers to the time when, from his highly exalted position in heaven, he becomes actively present with regard to earth’s affairs.
I am looking for a Rapture believer with money that would like to give it all to me since he will have no more use for it after May 21st! Kind of a put your money where your belief is! I hear that there is an Atheist web site that offers to look after the Raptured folks pets after they are gone, for a price of course! Sorry I have way too much debt to go plus I will never leave my pets!

But if people really look at his reasoning I don't see how they could jump right in with it.

Thanks for playing the holier than thou judgmental game.
A mistake you'll likely not make again - cheers!
