In accordance to what the article actually said, I'd believe that women drink a bit more because when they do drink, it's normally with their husband, while the husband, not hanging around his buddies as often, drinks less, though they probably drink about the same as a couple.

Yes, I don't know how many studied I read that a married women is more unhealthy then a unmarried. While a married man is more healthy then an unmarried one. Now Happiness maybe a different question.

well, I made up my mind to never touch alcohol again since I aciddently got drunk once and had a hangover and it didnt felt nice at all... besides, I hate the taste of alcohol, why should I ever drink it :'D ok, maybe baileys it doesnt taste like alcohol

Exactly, killing brain cells never really solved anything. Alcohol can actually add more problems than solve them, even though that is often times the purpose, ironically.

I disagree. Married women don't drink much because they need their wits about them when they are spending their husband's money.

Divorced women drink a lot. I know. I live in Vegas.
