You never quoted from his book, but rather made a statement that's been popular urban fiction and disproven time and time again. I gave you the "in context" quote directly from the man's book and you still refuse to believe. The actual quote is from Page 261 of the book "Audacity of Hope". Ahhhh.... Mundus Vult Decepi!!! No truer words have been spoken.

You continue to spread these old misquotations which have been proven to be rephrased, combined, and/or taken out of context. All have been proven to be false. Haven't noticed anything of the such. From the speeches I've seen, he's a dynamic speaker with much charisma. Many speakers have used a teleprompter for major speeches, but Obama has a very good ability to speak in front of crowds. Just look at many of his rallies.

Many of his rallies are at high school gymnasiums and he's spoken at events at companies as well. No room for teleprompters there. When the Repubs make an issue of something, they repeat it over and over and make it their truth. Obama can speak very well without a teleprompter.

I agree he is of mixed heritage, so are most blacks since most of the Black women were raped by their white masters and bore their children. I would venture to say their are very few if any Black Americans who are truly 100% Black. Obama lists his race as Black and Black is what he is. Nothing you can say will ever change that fact.

No one is questioning the race you say you are or the fact that you may also be mixed with some other race, we take you at your word. There is no such race as mixed breed. Any race with one iota of black blood falls into the black category because the White race and most other races don't want to claim them as their own. Black encompasses them all :-).

Who are the ilk of those who thought Blacks were only 3/5 human? Those were people who lived more than 200 years ago. Also, that's one of the biggest misconcpetions of the Constitution. If you read the actual clause, its talking about apportioning taxes. Taxes were apportioned by adding the number of free person, plus the number of people bound by service (including free Blacks), and all other were apportioned as 3/5ths. The method is for determining taxes not specifically calling Blacks 3/5ths of a person, however inhumane slavery was at the time, the Constitution is not actually making that assertion. The slave owners however may have thought even less of Black People than 3/5ths of a person, but the Constitution is not making that assertion.

Yep, it was the white Democrats who owned slaves 200 years ago and they haven't changed. Obeyme is trying to entice blacks into another kind of slavery. They were rescued by a Republican president, but terrorized and brutalized by Democrats and the KKK. Now those Democrats are trying to get the blacks to trade their shackles for entitlements.

Funny you mention owning slaves, Andrew Jackson leader of the so called Democratic-Republican Party owned as many as 150 slaves. During the 1800s, the Democrats were split into two factions (Southern Democrats, and Northern Democrats). The Southern Dems believe in slavery, but the Northern Dems didn't and wanted the Supreme Court to make all decisions on slavery. Speaking of the Democratic Party, its common knowledge that as the Democrats became more liberal (in the early 1900s), it infuriated the Conservative members, who fled to the Republican Party during the 40s and 50s. So, even though you try to make the connection between slavery and Democrats, it was the Conservatives in the party that espoused those beliefs. The Dems are much to liberal now to brutalize minorities as you speak.

PM, it's futile proposition to discuss logic with someone that no doubt will be voting for a man that believes 'god' has a wife (heavenly mother) and lives with her on a planet near a star they call Kolob. You forgot the fact that Obama confessed to doing drugs before college. The problem is, he lied about that, being witnesses have said he was doing that through college. So Obama lies and I do not know about you, but how can we be certain that he quit his drug use? Any American can abuse anything, but really, a president is held to higher standards, he should not be abusing anything.

I hate beer and once in a while I like drinking red wine. I have never smoked marijuana or cigarettes or done any kind of drugs. I am a health fanatic, I jog, walk, excercise. Now it was Obama who confessed to doing cocaine in high school. Well he lied because witnessess have said he did that in college too. So he changed his story later and said he did a little blow in college. So in reality he was doing cocaine for several years. He tried to downplay all his drug usage, but when he got caught lying, he changed his story. He confessess to doing drugs in his book "Dreams of my father."
