Marie Claire published a list of the top 20 cities for single women to meet men. The factors they used were ratio of available men to women, overall fitness level of the men, concentration of dating spots, the accessibility of the city's mass transit, and time of last call. Here they are!

As a former supermarket worker myself..At the market, is right up there..Especially during the summer..when all the young ladies are wearing next to nothing come into the markert.. (in bikinis, tank tops & shorts) ..cause they're goin to the beach or where-ever..They might be a little sweaty from it being so hot out..& then they come over to the produce or dariy frozen section..& 'things start spiking'
Not a much better place to spot hot chicks..And of course, ask them if they need any assistance.. even if they look like they know what they're doing (dont look lost or con-fused)..and take things from there...Just dont use the infa-mous, go down burning in flames line of..'Hey, nice melons'
That never works..Unless you're maybe Brad Pitt, Leo Di-Caprio, Matthew McCaugnehey Usher, Ray-J, or Tyson Bickford..Have some class about it. . .Then again, Ive never had a girlfriend in my entire adult life (from junior high till now..I know..pretty sad & pathetic isnt it)..Never.. So, I'm in no real postion to give any advice as where to meet women..or how to pick them up..what-so-ever..

Hmm, my town's not all the list. I've been to most of those places though, and they seemed like they might make good date spots. But I met my husband in high school, and it just sort of happened, so I've been completely out of the dating loop for about 6 years now. lol. Sorry!

I have been with the same man for 9+ years but I met him on the trusty New York City Transit! He offered me his seat as well so there are still decent men in NY! You may have to search, but they are out there.
