Am I the only one who noticed that the news anchor said the man in question lives across from a station where children pick up busses?

More importantly, what a VAPID, IDIOTIC, SELF-IMPORTANT Bi@ch. He was in his own damn home, and she shouldn't have been walking on somebody else's property anyways.

He's allowed to walk around nude in his own house, if that's what he feels like? It's not like he jumped out infront of her and shouted "look at me, look at me!" She looked through his window.. so if anything, then arrest the woman for beeing a peeping tom :P

It is not a crime to walk around your home naked as long as you do not stand in front of a window an expose yourself. It sounds like this woman was tresspassing on this man's land on her way to the bus stop and must have went out of her way to look at the guy. If she had stayed on the sidewalk or public walk, IMO it is unlikely she would see more than his upper body unless there is an overseized window.

Wow thats crap its not like he stood outside his house & got the morning paper in the nude. The man probablay got out of bed & went right to making coffee so he could wake up. It's not his fault a neighbor walked through his property to take her son to the bus stop. Maybe they should have used the sidewalk like everyone else.

I do not know if it is relevant or not but in season and out of season, I do not want the oportunity to do good to pass me bye.

Early today, I was reading the two epistles of Paul to the Thessalonians which talk about what was holding then the man of sin from making himself known to the world. And out of all things I read one came to mind. A word that I did not know the meaning of. BUSYBODY.

We are living in perilous times as those these people were living in the times of Paul. I searched the dictionaries and all answers were merely general. Then I read this complaint below and got its true meaning. I then compared the evesdropes of then and now. I do not know if you know, but in these days, the government want people to tell on people. They want the Cable man, the utilities man, the firefighter and the paramedics and anyother to prey o their neighbors and report all they see, hear and smell. This is why Paul reccomended the church in his day to abstain from doing anything that appears bad. This advice given by Paul is to all that are alive in Christ and I apply it to me first.

Here is the complaint I read. Hopefully we will all give heed and detect how we are being persecuted.

    A BUSYBODY is.

The kind of person you just want to punch in the mouth for being so damb ...

    A BUSYBODY is.

The kind of person you just want to punch in the mouth for being so damb annoying. They have no life and way too much time on their hands. They frequently use their excessive amount of time to annoy and monitor others, taddletale for small meaningless crap, butt into everybody’s business except their own, and spy on people as if they think they are a cop or an important person or something. You know busy bodies when you see them: they evesdrop, will report you for “child abuse” when you discipline your kids in the mall by giving them a small smack on the hand, they knock on your apartment door for “being too loud” when chopping vegetables on your counter for dinner, will tell flight attendants something like “excuse me but I saw that man using his cell phone during the safety demo” and will tell a COP something like “excuse me sir but I saw that man’s license plate tag as being expired.” What do you want me to do about a cell phone or an expired tag you stupid, loser? I had a friend once who was a busybody. He told me 6 months after I moved to Arizona that “I am going to report your car to the state DMV if you dont get your car registered with the state.” He did exactly what he said and I punched him in the face for it. We are not frinds anymore. I can’t stand ANY busybody like this. Let’s just say busybodies are the fingernails and we are their chalkboard.

Busy bodies are usually self-rightous hypocrites that are quick to point out the faults in others but get defensive when you point out theirs.
I can’t stand any busybody. I want to puch them all

With reference to the above comment, to all my friends I say that even though we are in the business of our heavenly Father and that to warn others of the impending judgements that shall come; and that being in the service of our our neighbors is our duty, we should beware of falling into the snares of the world. This is the counsel of the Lord and it has always been with regards to this matter.

Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

I think the naked coffee man who was arrested in his own home...

Well, the guy was outta line, okay, and he did break the law, and no, kids should not have to see that - but still did you SEE the woman who filed the complaint? I mean, HELLLOOOO? Been a while, mom?

It reminds me of that scene from the Mel Gibson/Anthony Hopkins movie, 'The Bounty', when Captain Bligh had Fletcher Christian on the beach in Tahiti, chewing him out, going on about "these illiterate savages who don't know any better", but that he should as a civilized Christian, behaving like that with no restraint - and then Fletcher Christian comes back with something to the effect of "Better than those who have nothing to restrain!"

That's what I thought when I saw that woman. I'm not standing up for that guy but the privacy of one's house should be inviolate, I don't give a damn what people think or how uncomforatable it may make them feel.

That's a little like someone passing a law to outlaw thong bikinis at the local beach, or trying to pass a city ordinance to require women to wear bras because they are uncomfortable with NIPPLES...they would have a fight on their hands, from me!

It really isn't that far removed from some of these theocratic countries, that require US Military service women to wear a headscarf when they go out in public! Our women do it, to avoid trouble and out of respect, but to arrest a man in his own home? For that?

Nobody was forced to look! To hell with 'em!

YOU ARE A BUSYBODY. READ MY COMMENT ABOVE AND YOU WILL KNWO WHAT others think of people like you. A person with true moral and ethics will not take an accusation of a fellow man unless there are two or three witnesses. That person that accused the man is an evesdrope.

I think it's blown way out of proportion. It's obviously the first time it has happened or they would have known about previous times. Give the man a ticket and move on. Arresting him and everything else seems like a drastic measure.

Should go to the local discounter and pick up some CURTAINS .. or at least some yards of DISCOUNTED FABRIC from the local Wal-Mart and just HANG that fabric to cover the windows ..

After all .. that would solve all the problems ..

But I do have to ask .. what was the NOSY Neighbor doing trespassing on HIS yard in the first place? Could she NOT go around and (you know) -- respect that SOMEONE OWNS that property she is trespassing on?

I think the naked coffee man who was arrested in his own home...

... is clearly guilty of bad judgment. I run around nekkid in my house, which is the reason I own curtains. I didn't buy curtains so I couldn't see my lovely oak trees. I bought them so people walking by wouldn't have to see my nekkid butt sashaying around if they happened to glance toward my house. It's called common courtesy.

Whether or not he's also guilty of indecent exposure depends on whether he was really back in his kitchen making coffee oblivious to passers-by, or whether he was up close to the window waving his junk at anyone who happened by.
