There was a time when unions were not greedy, did not get politically involved, and did not bilk their members out of outragous dues- they did one thing, and that was keep jobs in the USA, and make sure people earned a living wage. There would be more conservative support for unions if they went back to their original goals and stopped interfering in politics. My mother used to choke up when she heard this song on TV, because when my dad died, it was her union-wage job that kept us kids fed and clothed. She knew all the words, and she would sing along, her voice cracking with emotion:



The words go like this:

Look for the union label

When you are buying a coat, dress or blouse.

Remember somewhere our union's sewing

our wages going to feed the kids and run the house,

We work hard but who's complaining.

Thanks to the I.L.G. we're paying our way.

The Progressives desire to get rid of the constitution and half of them really don't fully understand the damages that would result from scrapping the constitution... That means as citizens our rights would be stripped away from us and we then would become like China and live in dormitories being fed by these large corporations most likely supported by our new socialist Government when it can finally take full control of America..
