Luxury Resort Offers $19 Room With No Bed: Would you stay for $19?

A luxury hotel in San Diego, The Rancho Bernardo Inn, is offering a special package... a room for only $19 but it comes with no amenities. From Aug. 16th to 31st 2009, guests can ask for the "Survivor Package" which includes a tent in the room. Staff will remove the mattress and headboard... and you'll also have to give up breakfast, air conditioning, lights and sheets. So... for under 20 dollars you can stay inside a room, inside a tent. You still get a toilet and sink and shower... but that's about it; they won't even give you toilet paper. The manager of The Rancho Bernardo Inn is hoping this will entice guests to come despite economic woes.
 For $19, yeah I would stay at a luxury hotel, inside a tent with no bed.

    Bunch of cheapskates. If you are going on vacation, you want it to be the best of everything, not the worst. For those who want to sleep in a tent inside the room, save yourself $19 and treat yourself to a good breakfast. Put your tent on the beach and then go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast with what you just saved. Just a gimic for the hotel. I ain't buying it. You shouldn't either, but it is your money and if you want to spend it that way, have at it. Shhhh! Listen quietly. Hear it? S U C K E R !

    It kind of removes the purpose if you don't have the bed. It would be like ordering a coffee without the cup.

    i would just bring an air mattress. plus you would be able to do other things there so yeah i would go
